About the event
‘Rough Justice’ - Sir Jeremy retired as a Judge in March 2016, after serving for 15 years on the High Court Bench, to practise as a full time arbitrator and mediator. His specialism is commercial law but in his time as a High Court Judge, he presided over many high profile criminal trials- murders, blackmail, fraud etc. His main claims to fame are being burnt in effigy twice, once in this country and once abroad and having two pages to himself in Wisden’s Cricketers’ Almanac. He will talk about his life, faith and the evidence there is for the resurrection for which, he has concluded, there is no other plausible explanation than what is written in the bible.
